Forbidden Love

I stood there-

With my heart in hand.

Watching him-

Coming down the stairs;

I stood still,

I cannot move.

Taking a step forward- 

Is not something I could.

Our eyes meet, 

And so did we, 

Taking a step forward-

I leap into thee. 

Only to realise-

with a heavy heart,

To step back-

One or Two.

For this is a forbidden love-

And will never come true!
